Videology Imaging Solutions introduces the 21B44, an ultra-small 14mm x 14mm CMOS VGA Colour Board Camera with applications in security, industrial and environmentally demanding OEM markets. The CMOS 1/4 inch VGA imager is a ruggedised BGA package specified for temperature ranges of -40°C/-40°F to 85°C/185°F.
Videology's 21B44 is well-suited for surveillance applications. Its sensitivity is < 1 lux. The camera's tiny size allows it to fit into small, covert housings like outlet covers or doorbells. It is equally suited for installation inside or outside a vehicle, inside an exposed exterior surveillance dome, or integrated into any equipment which must regularly tolerate high temperatures - the 20B44 can meet spec up to 85°C / 185°F. The sensor can operate to 105°C / 221°F. The 21B44's colour fidelity rivals that of today's best CCDs.
It's ability to withstand vibration has made the 21B44 the camera of choice for automotive and test equipment applications, while the low power consumption makes the camera attractive for battery operated applications.
A twisted pair balanced video output option makes the CMOS camera a cost effective solution using Cat 5 cable, eliminating the expense of COAX cables..
