The Raven-FLU infrared solution, an effective disease prevention strategy. |
|
|
The Raven-FLU solution measures body temperature from a distance through an infrared camera that detects the heat emitted from the human skin producing a temperature map. The result is a colour image whose various colour contours represent temperature gradients. Temperatures above a certain level can be highlighted.
Enabling reliable measurements, the Xenics Raven-FLU requires only minimal set up and examination time. It can be flexibly operated on a tripod or installed for permanent use. Xenics recommends the body temperature to be checked at the corner of an individual's eye, where the temperature approaches the core body temperature. The examination takes no longer than a fraction of a second. Setup of the Raven-FLU is very simple and requires minimum operator training of less than one hour before being fully operational.
Even a systematic, collected crowd screening is feasible via the Raven's high-definition image. Automatic alerts can be triggered by adjustable thresholds preferably set at 1°C above average temperature, with visual and/or audible alarms. Operation of the Raven is discrete as at a 50Hz frame rate there is no hampering of pedestrian flow. The Raven provides accurate and stable temperature measurement via precisely controlled black-body reference..

| MULTIPIX EVENTS: OUR LATEST PRODUCT LAUNCH......... |
DID YOU SEE US AT MACH? If you didn't make it to the MACH exhibition this year you would have missed our 3D robot demonstration. Combining a DENSO robot, Basler Scout Megapixel camera and MVTec's HALCON 9.0 imaging software our robot successfully picked and placed car parts all week. Demonstrating the reliability and robust nature of HALCON 9.0 and it's powerful 3D vision tools.
3D vision is opening doors to applications that simply would not have been possible before. Later this year MVTec will enhance 3D features even further with the launch of HALCON 10 but for now if you are looking to learn more about the exciting possibilities of 3D vision and how it can benefit your application do not hesitate to contact our sales team.
